JRG's Bikini Under the Bridge 2009

Well since having worked this fashion show two years ago and also working at their all White Event, you would think getting in and treated like VIP was possible. Well, after arriving at the entry gate just before the show started, I had to wait 30 minutes to be let in while one ticket purchasers were allowed in with an entourage. Well, I never!

Well I made it in, I'm seated and the show has started with a Jamaican artist named Kamsha.
For starters I'm shocked at her leggings with the buttons on the ankles.

-Royal Rush

Very vibrant and girlie. Love the ruffles. The best to me was the one shoulder robe. The pallet was very bright colors of Royal shades. And the crowd roars for an Alek Wek look alike, Miss Antigua.

-Sannie B-all black and white asymetric one piece suits with some pop of color. The one breast jeweled suit was very cute. But some women can't wear just any swim garment. The jeweled suits are haute but not for the water. More suitable for just looking fabulous.

-Steven Daniel inspired by Sexy Pirates of the Caribbean. Didn't see a sexy pirate but saw some cute swim wear. I would never have thought to mix dominatrix with swimwear! But anywho, the men can pass for the sexy pirates! Miss Antigua was doing it. They actually had a model dressed as a Sexy Pirate and she looked sexy!

Camille from ANTM is hosting. She did a good job so far! Can use some more practice however.

-Bernard Moore--very shiny metallics; one piece suits with side and front cut outs are beginning to be predictable but still ready for the buyers!

The last was a Guyanese designer named Derek Moore; but why would anyone wear a utility belt with scissors in it with a bikini? The only thing that made the designs look different was the printed fabrics used. Otherwise, they all started to look the same. And seriously, button trimmed male speedos?

Here's to being Fabulous!
