The Diary of A Fashionista

Yesterday's trip to Lincoln Center for this season's Fashion Week, as always, was worth the strut in six inch, triple platform stilettos! Everywhere you look, there were so many people that dressed for the cameras, fashion bloggers and press. For you viewing pleasure, here are some pics of some random fashion:

Step Out Like Nobody's Business, Brick City Style

When it comes to fashion, the first place we think of is New York City. While NYC may be the Fashion Capital of the World, there are so many talented and stylish people that aren't The Native New Yorkers. However their eye for fashion, style and trends are a force to be reckoned with.
As we jump across the Hudson to visit our neighbor, New Jersey, we head to Newark to see the shoe buzz from the fashion forward and very trendy TSM Boutique located at 953 Bergen Street.

With in season collections from various designers to haute accessories, we have to wonder, why isn't TSM's owner Mr Kiburi Tucker above the fashion radar? TSM proves to have what it takes to be the biggest trend setter for the future of boutiques in New Jersey.

Paper Magazine's Meet and Mingle/Party

Writers, photographers and editors alike came to NYC's the Avenue to share a common groove. Located on Manhattan's West Side, everyone was there to mingle, make new contacts and meet the staff of Paper Magazine. With H'or D'ouvres and an open bar set, it made it very easy for the social butterflies to exchange information and ask the redundant, "Who do you write for, What do you do?". While most were sipping on Given(Jee-Vahn) or Tequila others were air kissing and greeting those of familiarity. Among most of the attendees, were quite a few movers and shakers of the "glossy" industry and then some (Some being from Paper: Kim Hastreiter and David Hershkovits). With opportunities to perfect your Rolodex, the Who-to-know was in the building. With open and accepting energy, this event promoted conversation amongst the young, artistic and productive people around.

Haute!
